Gene Adams and Ron Mercer were led throughout the years to add staff that shared their sense of responsibility to minister to the community. We believe God has prospered the business as a result of those commitments to serve Him by serving the ones He gives us.

In 1997, health concerns dictated retirement for Gene and Dena. Ron Mercer and his family became the sole owners of the business and the name was changed to Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. The Adams name was left in as a reminder of the legacy we carry as we continue to think forward, being on the cutting edge of how funerals are performed and families are served.

That desire was the driving force behind our remodel a few years ago, staying ahead of the current state of the industry. Our facilities enable us to provide the technical expertise that flows in the background of the aesthetics, comfort and peacefulness of our facility. Combined with a genuinely caring staff, ready to provide everything from prearrangement to grief counseling, you understand our motto: Before, during and after. We understand the language of comfort.
